Location and arrival at the property

Property address is: Valimotie 17–19, 00380 Helsinki.

The property's main doors are open on weekdays from 07:00 until 17:00. At other times, access to the property always requires a passcode and pin code.

Valimo is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, with excellent public transport connections. It is also easy for us to arrive by car.

In addition to the property's own parking garage, tenants have access to spaces in the courtyard.

The local bus stop is right next to the property along Vihdintie. Pitäjänmäki and Valimo train stations are a stone's throw away.

Valimo is well accessible by car along Vihdintie.

Parking

There are a total of 454 parking spaces on the property's courtyard level and in the garage.

In the basement of the property is the property's own parking garage, where it is possible to rent a parking space. There is no guest parking in the parking garage. You are free to choose the parking space from the parking garage when you park

Guest parking

There are plenty of guest parking spaces in front of the property’s main door. Improper parking will cause a parking error fee. The lobby grants a temporary parking permit.

Bicycle parking

The bicycle park is located in the front of parking garage. Please note that you will need access code to the bike parking, which will be attached to your personal access code. You can get the access code from the lobby by calling, emailing or visiting the lobby.

You can drive to the bike parking along the same ramp as by car.

Visitor bikes are located in the front yard.

Lobby service

Lobby service makes everyday life easier

In Valimo, the lobby services are taken care of by skilled and friendly customer service professionals. They take care of, among other things, reception, meeting services, mailing and several office tasks. A professional lobby service is also part of your company's business card.

The lobby service of the property is provided by AccessPoint Oy. The lobby service is open on weekdays from 07:00 until 17:00. Any exceptional opening hours will always be announced in advance.

Guests

Please remember to inform about the security arrangements of your guests and the possibility of parking.

When guests arrive, the reception will notify the host, who will pick them up from the lobby. At the end of the visit, it is the hosts responsibility  to bring the guest back into the lobby.

Guests move around in the property under the responsibility of the host.

Visitor cards

Some companies visitors will be given visitor cards at the reception, which should be kept visible throughout the visit. It is the responsibility of the host to ensure that this is done and that the card is returned to reception at the end of the visit.

Keys and access control

Keys and their use

AccessPoint Oy is responsible for access control and management of the property.

The lobby performs auxiliary access control tasks (pin code queries, creating new IDs, etc.), but AccessPoint Customer Service handles other work requests.

You can order and retrieve access codes for new employees directly from the lobby. Be sure to bring a ID card with photo.

AccesPoint’s customer service is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00. Job requests will be answered within 1-3 days.

Opening hours

The property's main doors are open on weekdays from 07:00 until 17:00. At other times, access to the property always requires a passcode and pin code.

You will receive the pin code upon handing over the passcode. If you forget your pin code, you can inquire about it in the lobby.

AccessPoint Oy is responsible for the access control and lobby service of the property.

Mail and sending other items

The lobby service instructs incoming couriers to arrive straight into companies or asks them to leave packages in the lobby for collection. The lobby sorts and stores mail for companies.

All mail and packages should be picked up as soon as possible since space is limited.

If the company does not have an agreement with Posti for a separate service, the mail will arrive in the lobby. Mail can be picked up from the lobby by a company employee / contact person.

You can leave a letter in the lobby with the appropriate information. Every day the letter mail leaves around 13:00 to 14:00.

It is not possible to send mail from the lobby, but each tenant must agree on the delivery and collection of mail and items with the relevant service provider. The tenant is responsible for ensuring that the shipping documents for the shipment are left in the lobby with appropriate information, and the lobby is only responsible for the delivery.

Security

Securitas Oy is responsible for guarding the property. In addition to guarding, Securitas may be contacted if there are problems with access rights or doors outside office hours. The Lobby Service notifies Securitas of all events outside the office hours on the property's premises (meeting, lobby and sauna facilities).

First aid

There is a first aid kit at the reception that contains basic supplies. A defibrillator has also been placed in the vicinity of the reception, for which the maintenance man and the property manager are trained. Tenants will equip the premises they rent with the necessary first aid equipment.

Fire safety

Security devices and systems

The property has a fire alarm system and smoke extraction hatches.

Exits

Exit routes are marked with green lights and exit road images.

Exit exercises

The property holds exit exercises at regular intervals. In addition, it is possible for tenants to arrange their own exit exercises.

Inspections

The fire inspector shall carry out official inspections at regular intervals. In addition, it is recommended that companies carry out their own internal fire inspections on their premises.

Monthly trials of fire alarm equipment

The property manager conducts a functional test of the fire alarms once a month. The functional test is generally performed on the 15th of each month. The reception will send a reminder by e-mail to the company's contact person.

Waste management and sorting

The property's waste room is located on the 1st floor, next to the Maintenance 2 entrance.

In the waste room you will find:

  • mixed waste press
  • cardboard press
  • small electronics recycling
  • clear plastic recycling
  • battery recycling
  • biowaste

If the waste bins are overfilled, you can notify the maintenance or the lobby.

Gym, saunas and social facilities

Gym

One of the prides of the Valimo is the versatile and well-equipped gym. Spend some time exercising at your own workplace, at the beginning/mid/end of the day. It's worth it!

The gym is freely available to tenants working at Valimotie 17-19 24 hours a day. Please note that outsiders are not allowed in the gym.

There is also a swimming pool downstairs, where you can take a refreshing dip.

Opening hours for sauna

Weekdays: 14:00-21:00
Saturday: 12:00-20:00
On Sundays and public holidays, the sauna does not heat up.

In case of problems with the gym, sauna and pool, you can contact the maintenance company directly.

The daily cleaning time on weekdays is from 09:00 until 10:30. Avoid using the premises during cleaning.

Public spaces are emptied on the last Friday of each month. All common lockers are opened and emptied. Towels, shampoos and other items in public areas are collected. The goods are stored for one month, after which they are recycled. Items collected from the changing rooms can be requested from the property’s lobby service.

Bookable lockers

It is possible for people working in the property to reserve their own locker for long-term use. There are two types of cabinets:

The so-called old lockers, ie higher metal lockers, can be found next to the gym, outside the locker rooms. There are a total of 120 cabinets.

The so-called new lockers, ie locker-type lockers, are located in the corridor directly in front of the AK floor elevator group (elevators 10,11,12). There are a total of 150 cabinets.

Lockers can be inquired from the lobby service. The loaner of the locker is responsible for keeping the key and returning it to the lobby at the end of the employment. The property will charge a non-refundable key for regrouping the locker.

Upstairs representative sauna

On the top floor of the Valimo, you can enjoy a relaxing sauna and recharge your batteries in the cozy fireplace room. The sauna department is also ideal for representation and conference use.

The property’s sauna cabinet is located on the UK floor. The sauna space is booked via the Valimotie 17–19 lobby service by e-mail or telephone. Sauna space can be reserved only for the tenants of the property Valimotie 17–19. Space can not be reserved for companies outside the property.

The sauna space cannot be booked through Taitor, but all reservations are made through the lobby service. The reservation must be made no later than one day before the start of the reservation. The representation rooms can accommodate about 25 people.

Please provide the following information when booking:

- Booking day and time
- Number of people
- What time should the sauna (s) be on?
- Do you want to turn on both saunas or just one
- Possible reference or contact person for the invoice

Use of the sauna space is free of charge for conference use and day bookings. There is a cleaning fee and a sauna fee for evening bookings and sauna heating.

The cleaning fee is € 120.00 + VAT and the sauna fee is € 4.00 / person + VAT.

The fee for the sauna space will be invoiced by Coor, which is responsible for cleaning the property, and the invoice will be sent to the company that reserved the space.

Lunch restaurant

Valimo has a lunch restaurant with 280 seats, the services of which are provided by the Compass Group. In addition to serving lunch, the restaurant also provides conference catering for the conference rooms, the sauna department and, if necessary, for the tenants' own meeting rooms.

Compass Group is responsible for the property's restaurant services.

Restaurant Lasihelmi is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 14:00. Lunch is served from 10:30 until 13:00.

The self-service café downstairs is open 24/7. The self-service café also serves coffee and tea on weekdays from 14:00 until 17:00.

It is possible to place food orders from the restaurant through the space reservation system Taitor or by contacting the restaurant directly.

Conference and meeting facilities

The property’s meeting facilities are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. Use of the meeting facilities is free of charge for tenants of the property.

Meeting rooms can be booked through the Taitor space reservation system, from the doorstep screens of the meeting rooms or by contacting the lobby service.

The lobby service manages the IDs for the space reservation system, and you can inquire about new IDs from the lobby service.

Auditorium

Space for a large audience and representation

You can even organize a larger event in the Valimo auditorium. The bright and comfortable space seats 168 people and features high standard meeting technology.

Carwash Valimo -services

We are looking for a new entrepreneur. So at the moment the car wash is not in use.

Advertisements and newsletters

If necessary, you can inquire about the placement of advertisements from Property Manager.

Illuminated advertisements on the facade

Advertisements that require a permit, such as advertisements attached to the facade of a building, require a separate permit from the property owner and the building inspectorate. Contact the Property Manager for more information.

Photography

All photography without the appropriate permission is prohibited indoors.

Photographing permits must be obtained as follows:

- For photography on the tenant's own premises, from a representative of the tenant company.

- For photography in the public areas of the building from the Property Manager.

Storage

All storage of the companies' own goods must take place on the premises they rent.

The corridors, parking spaces, courtyards or other common areas of the property may not be used, even temporarily, for the storage of companies materials.

Handling of alarms caused by security surveillance equipment and initiation of follow-up measures, as well as periodic patrols of the property.

If you need storage space for your company, please contact the Property Manager.

Cleaning

Coor is responsible for cleaning the common areas of the property.

Tenants are responsible for cleaning their own premises. If you want to make an agreement with the property cleaning company, you can contact Minna Kuusela: minna.kuusela@coor.com.

A day cleaner is on site 06-14.

The maintenance company Honeywell is responsible for the cleanliness of the outdoor areas and the yard.

Smoking

There is a designated smoking area near the Maintenance 2 in front of the D-Stage entrance.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the building and right in front of the main entrance.

Use of fire

Due to the risk of fire, no candles or other open flames should be lit in any room. Burning candles is only allowed with a separate permit. More detailed instructions can be obtained from the business premises management.

Outside the building, outdoor lights may be used at corporate parties or similar events under the following conditions:

- The one who lights up the fire is always responsible for all safety-related, fire monitoring and extinguishing.

- The fires must be placed far enough away from the building and other materials.

- The fires must not cause any damage to the surface materials of the yard.

- Extinguished outdoor fires should be repaired out of the yard area immediately and the environment needs to be cleaned. The work can be ordered, for example, from a property management company.

- Both the property maintenance company and the security company must be notified of the event in advance. The one who lights up the fire is responsible for any damage they cause.

Electricity contract

The real estate company has its own electricity contract for green electricity. Real estate company charges according to electricity consumption.

Loading area and deliveries

The property has three loading yards that are required to be used for delivery, especially for larger loads. It is the responsibility of the companies themselves to ensure that the appropriate suppliers delivers goods in to the business premises.

The goods elevator found in the maintenance yard should only be used for the transport of goods.
